Some pages like flickr.com offers dynamic KML Links. So XML Google Maps couldn’t handle them, because they don’t end with ‘.kml’. From Version 1.7 this plugin can handle even these links. But you have to use a different syntax.
In the following sample I’ll integrate my own Flickr Fotostream as a dynamic KML Link. The KML Link you’ll find at the bottom of your Fotostream Page:
This KML-Link we have to prepare. Remove the parameter &lang=xx :
Now you can insert this link as follows:
As you see, there’s no “view” in this KML-File, so you have to set these coordinates by yourself:
Now we start to integrate the geoRSS Feed of the Flickr Account. Even in this link: remove the &lang=xxx parameter:
Then insert it into your post:
